After a disappointing district run which would see the Panthers lose four tough games in a row, Spring Hill was able to rally together for a big win in their last game of the year. The Panthers would travel to Paris, Tx, to take on the North Lamar Panthers last Friday, November, 5. This game would finish the record-breaking season for senior Brennan Ferguson. During the game Brennan would catch 10 passes for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns. This incredible game would cap off a season total of 1,143 receiving yards, this total would break a Spring Hill record. The previous record was set by Chad Mackey back in 1990, when he would go for 1,134 yards during the season. Jax Stovall would complete 17 out of his 23 pass attempts, with 3 touchdowns. Zane Mason would lead the Panthers in rushing yards with 97 yards on 7 carries. Also helping the rushing attack for the Panthers was Davaunte Powers, who would find the endzone twice. Cory Cagle and Jordan Jones would also add 1 rushing touchdown each. North Lamar would strike first, leading 7-0, with 8:04 left in the first quarter. However after that initial punch, Spring Hill would go on to score 43 unanswered points. This dominant win would mark the end of the season for the Panthers. Spring Hill would finish with a 4-6 record (1-4 in district).
