In the most important game of the season, the Panthers needed to get in the victory column against the Pirates last Friday, unfortunately they weren’t able to come together to get the win. The Panthers would fall to the Pirates 42-28. This loss would mark the fourth district loss in a row for the Panthers, and would knock them out of playoff contention. One bright spot for the Panthers was yet again senior Brennan Ferguson who had 6 receptions for 216 yards. 4 out of the 6 receptions were touchdowns. The 4 Stovall to Ferguson end-zone connections were the only scores for the Panthers throughout the game. The Pirates came out strong right as the game started, scoring 14 points just in the 1st quarter. This hot start would continue for Pittsburg the entire game, as they would rack up 42 points in total. The Panthers will finish off the season this week against the North Lamar Panthers in Paris Tx. Going into this game North Lamar has only won one game all season long.
