Panthers Fall To Leopards After 4th Quarter Comeback

This past Friday marked another tough district loss for Spring Hill. The Panthers would have the lead the entire game until around 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Liberty-Eylau would deliver the final nail in the coffin to the Panthers with a game winning touchdown right as the game clock ended, winning 21-15. Despite the ending the Panthers played great throughout, quarterback Jax Stovall would complete 13 out of his 25 pass attempts, and would also rush for a touchdown. Jordan Jones would also see the end-zone with a rushing touchdown as well. Brennan Ferguson would have another solid game as well, with 5 receptions for 60 yards. This heartbreaking loss would result in the Panthers falling to 0-2 in district play. Spring Hill will look to get in to the win column this upcoming Friday as they will travel to Pleasant Grove. Liberty-Eylau will look to defend home field and keep the winning streak alive against the Gilmer Buckeyes.
