Spring Hill Pitchers Combine To Throw No Hit Game

SH Panther’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as the Panthers defeated Pittsburg 2-1 on Tuesday.The pitching was strong for the Panthers. Panther pitchers struck out 16 on the night as they kept the hitters off balance.

Alex Brown was the winning pitcher for SH Panther Varsity. The lefthander went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out ten. Collin Martin threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Martin recorded the last nine outs and fanning 6 batters to earn the save for the Panthers.

SH Panther Varsity got on the board in the second inning when Ethan Foster drew a walk, scoring one run. Blake Barlow drove in the other run in the 5th inning which would be enough to seal the victory for the Panthers.

The Panthers will play again on Thursday hosting the Van Vandals in the first game of their tournament.
