Today marks the day of change in the United States, as today is the Inauguration of the new president Joe Biden. He will be replacing former president Donald Trump. After a long fought campaign between these two, today officially puts it to an end. Spring Hill as well as schools all over the country had students tune in and voice their opinions.

“I can’t judge him too hard because he hasn’t been in long enough, and of course he wasn’t my first choice for a presidential candidate,” junior Lexi Smith said. “But I hope that he does well and fixes some things in America that definitely need help,” Lexi added.

This inauguration has brought out many different thoughts and emotions from students here at Spring Hill.

“I am very disheartened about Joe Biden’s upcoming presidency, as I don’t think he deserves it,” junior Kyle White said.

No matter which side you stand on, or which beliefs you back up, this presidential campaign has greatly achieved at allowing voices from all over be heard. So even if you’re happy or not, this has been one of the most eventful and dramatic elections of all time, and you were a part of that history.
