Never say never, a motto that the Lady Panthers are living by during  the playoffs. Showing extreme grit and passion the Lady Panthers were able to best Kaufman 3-2. They now advance to regional quarterfinals for the first time since 2015, and will take on Farmersville this Saturday in Van, Texas at 2.

After going down the first set 19-25 the Lady Panthers were able to claw their way back, winning 3 of the next 4 sets. The Panthers were battling a formidable foe in Kaufman, who was solid from the line and had size near the net. However with all of that, the Lady Panthers sure did not back down.

Mia Traylor and Sam Schott were at the forefront of the win. Traylor ended up with 8 timely kills and 47 assists, and plenty of sneaky dumps over the net. Schott provided a great game as well, consisting of 21 digs, 6 assists and 3 aces. Molly Seale had herself a game as well,

providing the Panthers with 19 digs, 14 kills, and a block and 2 aces. Carolann Bowles helped the cause with 18 kills, 2 blocks and 8 digs. Abby Caron was even with 4 blocks and 4 kills, while Caylee Mayfield and Carli Manasee finished with 8 and 6 kills respectively. Janie Bradshaw would finish with 3 aces as well.

Meanwhile Kaufman was lead by Lexie Esparza, Paige Garmon, Evelyn Ramos, Lily Lancaster and Savannah Pasquinelli.

After finishing out a game with multiple sets finishing to the wire, every Lady Panther was able to come up big in crunch time and provide valuable stops and scores, which allowed them to rally as a team and beat the Lions 3-2.
