1st Division Ratings for Band

The Spring Hill High School Blue Brigade continues the legacy of excellence by bringing home yet another win to add to the overflowing wall of accolades for this 4A Band under the direction of Michael Moody.

Pine Tree High School hosted the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition on Saturday, February 8. This Festival is an opportunity for individual students from member schools to perform a selection of their choice for adjudication. District-level festivals are held in late January through mid-February. According to Miasia Arceneaux, a contestant, students earning a Division One Rating in the Solo category at the competition while playing from memory are eligible to advance to the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest traditionally hosted in Austin on Memorial Day Weekend.

This year six students earned individual medals with 1st Division ratings:
