Headed to State for the 5th time

The Lady Panther Girls Golf team began the Regional Golf Championship on  Thursday April 24, 2019 with an 8 stroke lead after the end of Round 1. J’Dee Stoval had a great opening with 76, contributing to the team total of 347.The sun began to dry out the soggy greens at Van Zandt Country Club as the girls teed off for Round 2 around 11:30- closing the day with high hopes of a State here

Day 2 had better weather conditions and the girls kept their focus. These chicks with sticks played with the confidence that this legacy state qualifying team should, after the closing tally, this year makes the Panther Golf Team’s 5th appearance at the State UIL State Golf Tournament. This year’s competition will be on May 15-16 in Marble Falls.

Stovall finished with a 158 total for the two days earning her the 2nd place individual win as well.
