March 25 was no ordinary Monday for the UIL District Coordinator Mrs. Jennifer White. She and her team of coaches hosted this year’s District 4A Region II Academic Meet at Spring Hill High School by welcoming Kilgore, Bullard, Chapel Hill, Cumberland Academy, Henderson and Gilmer schools.  The academic teams and coaches prepared for the meet by attending numerous practice invitationals throughout the year, giving up Saturdays and after-school time to be #BetterinBlue. All the hard work paid off as the Panthers are, once again,  District Champs. This is a sweet victory after coming in a disappointing second last year.

Events include Accounting, Math/Science, Current Events, Social Studies, Journalism (copy editing, headline writing, feature writing, editorial writing, and news writing), Ready Writing, Calculator, Computer Applications, Science and Speech Events (prose and poetry).

Qualifying Panthers will be advancing to Regionals on April 11.
