The Panther golf teams hit the links on April 2 for the first round of District Title play at Garden Valley Country Club in Lindale and continued with Day 2 here in Longview at Wood Hollow Golf Club. The Lady Panthers, with a team total of 719, walked away with the District Title. J’Dee Stovall, junior, earned  1st place recognition as an individual with teammate Tyler Newman following as 2nd.

On the boys’ side, Logan Moore, sophomore, had his game in full swing qualifying him for Regionals as an individual.

Heading into post district play, rule changes will need to be considered. For the 2019 UIL Golf Season, all 35 USGA rule changes will be in effect.  The UIL Golf State Championships will NOT be adopting the Local Rule: Alternative to Stroke and Distance.

Spring Hill will compete in the 4A Region II Division on  April 22-25 at Van Zandt Country Club in Canton to determine State qualifications. State meets will be in May in Kyle.
