Christmas is right around the corner and it’s almost time to exchange gifts. If you don’t have any idea what to give this season, fear no more! Many people want tech gifts for Christmas because of how in style and useful they are.

“I really want the series four Apple watch so bad!” Najah Jackson, sophomore, replied when asked what she wants for Christmas this year. Technology spending during the 2018 holiday season is projected to reach a record-setting $96.1 billion, according to the Consumer Technology Association.

“Well I would say the iPad pro 11,” said Mrs. Popelar, Spanish teacher at SHHS, when asked what tech gift she would like. Kristen Beck, senior, said, “The iPad pro 11 and the iPhone Xs Max.” This iPad is one of the newest models and a variety of people want this model as a gift for this year.

“My grandchildren would want an iPad, toys, watches and clothes” replied Mrs Lentz, secretary, “This whole world is electronic and kids love playing games.” A lot of children now want tech gifts instead of simple, less expensive gifts.

“A Canon 80D,” said Kirstin Saha, sophomore, “Videography is hard enough as is, but with a high quality camera it makes life easier.” Videography is a very important part of society now and a lot of people make videos just for fun or to entertain others.

Tech gifts have been very popular these past years because of how much our society has been using technology. Christmas is getting closer as the days pass and it’s almost time to exchange gifts with loved ones, but you don’t need to buy a loved one something expensive to show how much they mean to you.
