The school is full of volunteers and workers who are always here to help and support students and faculty, but someone that really stands out are the Harvey couple aka “The peppermint people”.

The Harvey’s are always standing by The Spill and handing out peppermints during second period, they are friends with everyone and make us smile by promoting good cheer.

“They always have a warm greeting for everybody they meet,” Mr. Biles said, “They are here really early to talk to us teachers, so it’s a nice way to start your day.”

Not only do they make people smile, but they are always willing to help and do something good for the school.

“I think that they are a very positive contribution to the school,” Mrs. Tidwell said, “I’m happy that they are always here to help.”

Mrs. And Mr. Harvey have done a good job of becoming friends with the students and helping them have a smile on their face which doesn’t happen very often on this time of the year.

“I have been given a peppermint by the Harvey’s and it made me feel special and encouraged!”, Brandt Varnell,12th,  said, “I have only had small talk with them, but it always brightens up my day when they tell me to have a great day.”

The Harvey’s always have a positive attitude and therefore they make other students happy.

“I have been given a peppermint by them,” Kristen Beck, 12th, said, “ It made me feel happy and it gave me a minty fresh breath!”

The “peppermint people” truly have the heart of a Panther and Spring Hill couldn’t be thankful enough for them and the things that they do for the school.
