Saturday, September 15, 2018- Spring Hill Panther Tennis Team set off for a match against undefeated Whitehouse. The team fought hard against weather, fatigue from cheering the Panther football team to a victory over  White Oak the previous night, and the daunting fact that the opponent was unbeaten. But, that didn’t stop the SHHS Netters. The team came out on top with an impressive 11-5 count for the tournament win. The Panther’s Paw Photo Editor, Logan McKelvey, proved she means business on the court with a 6-3 win in her first singles game. The second game was more of a challenge and she fell to Whitehouse in a 1-6 count. But, McKelvey battled back in the third set for a “dig deep” gut check and a 12-10 final, giving McKelvey the Victory with 2-1 sets. Her doubles match was also a win. They had consecutive set counts of 6-3 and 6-1- overpowering with ease their opponents. This season is off to a great start for the Panthers.
